Mumbai: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) forensic report findings on the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput as per which no traces of organic poison have been witnessed in the actor's body, sources said. General

There was no poisoning involved in Sushant’s death, a team of doctors from Delhi AIIMS has supposedly stated in its report to the CBI. Poisoning was a theory raised by the Sushant’s family and others who have been challenging the Mumbai police valuation that Sushant died by suicide.

The Kai Po Che! actor was found dead at his Mumbai residence on June 14. Though the police in Mumbai, based on the autopsy report, termed it a suicide, multiple speculation and campaigns of justice and allegations from Sushant Singh Rajput's family raised doubts that became a part of an overall CBI enquiry. His autopsy report also confirmed asphyxia due to hanging as the cause of death.

Now the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team has to trust on the forensics to solve the probe, apart from taking the statements of the people key to the matter. After collecting the forensic evidence, the Mumbai Police sent them to the Forensic Science Laboratory in Kalina, Mumbai. The Mumbai Police had used around 80 per cent of the viscera samples collected by them as indication. The CBI was left with the remaining 20 per cent of the viscera sample. Sushant Singh Rajput's family and some friends had raised questions about how he died.
