Toolkit Case: Days after Disha Ravi's arrest, Greta Thunberg & American teen activist Alexandria Villaseñor extend support

On Friday, the Delhi court sent the 22-year-old climate activist Disha Ravi to three-day judicial custody.

Swedish climate Activist Greta Thunberg on Friday took to Twitter to extend her support to Disha Ravi who has been arrested in connection with the dissemination of the Toolkit document.

''Freedom of speech and the right to peaceful protest and assembly are non-negotiable human rights. These must be a fundamental part of any democracy. #StandWithDishaRavi," Greta Thunberg wrote in a tweet.

She also shared the same on message on Facebook along with a picture of Disha Ravi.

Meanwhile, American teen activist Alexandria Villaseñor also extended her support to Disha Ravi. She took to twitter to express her solidarity with her.

On Friday, the Delhi court sent the 22-year-old climate activist Disha Ravi to three-day judicial custody.

Delhi Police said that Ravi was evasive during her previous interrogation and tried to shift the blame on the co-accused.
