National Aerospace Conference 2025: Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu to Deliver Keynote

Event will showcase student project exhibitions, startup-industry interactions, and memorial lectures, providing a platform for innovation and knowledge exchange in India's aerospace sector.

Pune: The Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI) is set to host a two-day National Conference along with its 73rd Annual General Meeting at the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium, NDA Road, Pashan, Pune, on January 31 and February 1, 2025. The theme of the conference is "Challenges in Aerospace for Vikasit Bharat 2047."

The conference will commence at 10:00 AM on January 31, featuring a distinguished panel of experts, including:

  • Dr. S. Somanath – Former Secretary, Department of Space & Former Chairman, ISRO

  • Dr. Satish Reddy – Former DRDO Chairman & Chairman, AeSI

  • Prof. Prateek Kishore – Distinguished Scientist

  • Dr. A.P. Das – Director, HEMRL, DRDO & Outstanding Scientist

  • M.V. Ramesh Kumar – Associate Director

A key highlight of the event will be the address by Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Pinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, at 4:00 PM. The session will also feature Dr. Tayyeb Kamali, Chairman of Abu Dhabi School of Management, UAE, as the Guest of Honor. Additionally, Dr. S. Somanath, Dr. Satish Reddy, and ARDE Director Akanthi Raju will be among the notable attendees.

The conference will include plenary sessions by leading scientists and industry experts, covering a wide range of aerospace and aviation topics such as:

  • Civil Aviation & Space Vehicles

  • Satellites & Aero Engines

  • Missile Systems & Combat Aircraft

  • Aerospace Innovations, Drones & Helicopters
