Pune: The Artificial Limb Centre (ALC) in Pune had the honor of hosting Padma Shri Muralikant Petkar, the celebrated Paralympic gold medalist on August 17, 2024.

Petkar, known for his extraordinary achievements and significant contributions to the Paralympic sports community, was warmly received by Brigadier C.N. Satish, Commandant of ALC, along with the entire staff.

During his visit, Petkar toured the facilities, interacting with patients, staff, and a group of schoolchildren who were also visiting the center. The Artificial Limb Centre in Pune is the premier rehabilitation facility of the Indian Armed Forces, with a legacy spanning nearly 80 years.
