The initiative, launched by the Ministry of External Affairs, aims to meet the growing demand for quicker appointments and bring passport facilities closer to applicants. A specially equipped Passport Mobile Van will operate at the university’s Department of Commerce, providing on-site services during the camp.

The camp will run daily from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, except on the weekend of September 27 and 28. Officials have advised citizens to arrive at least 15 minutes before their allotted slot to avoid delays and ensure smooth processing.

Applicants must apply online through the Passport Seva portal under the Normal scheme, pay the required fee, and choose ‘Passport Van, Pune University’ as the service location while booking their appointment. Only those with confirmed appointments will be allowed to access services at the camp

Authorities have urged applicants to review the list of required documents for adults and minors on the Passport Seva website and carry original papers for verification. Additional details or documents may be requested if needed under the Passports Act, 1967, and Passport Rules, 1980.
