Wagholi: Lonikand police raided an illegal country liquor den in Kolpe Basti area of Perne. A case has been registered against the woman who made the liquor.
The woman has been identified as Madhuri Ramesh Pardeshi of Kolpe Basti, Perne. According to police, the Lonikand police conducted a raid after receiving information that a hand-kiln was operating in Perne area.
They destroyed chemicals, liquor and other items worth around Rs 1.25 lakh. The action was taken by a team led by Assistant Police Inspector Ravindra Godse under the guidance of Senior Police Inspector Sarjerao Kumbhar.
