Pistol, Two Cartridges Recovered from Absconding Accused

The accused has been identified as Sahil Raju Shaikh (24), a resident of Undri.

Wagholi: A pistol and two live cartridges were recovered from the accused, who has been absconding for two years in connection with the Mumbai crime. He was nabbed by crime branch unit 6.

The accused has been identified as Sahil Raju Shaikh (24), a resident of Vadachi Wadi Road, Undri. Police personnel Balasaheb Sakate and Kanifnath Karkhele received information that a youth was carrying an unlicensed pistol.

A team comprising senior police inspector Wahid Pathan, assistant inspector Madan Kamble and sub-inspector Ramkrishna Dalvi laid a trap at Kondhwa Khurd and took him into custody.

A thorough investigation led to the discovery of an unlicensed pistol. A case has been registered against him at Kalepadal police station.
