Pune: Mahendra Bendre, a newspaper vendor and rickshaw driver, has fulfilled his dream of seeing his son become a Chartered Accountant (CA). His son, Prathamesh Bendre (25), successfully cleared the CA examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI), whose results were recently announced.

Prathamesh resides in Guruwar Peth and completed his education up to the 12th grade at Nutan Marathi Vidyalaya, followed by a commerce degree from S.P. College. Inspired by his grandmother, a former headmistress at a municipal school, Prathamesh began preparing for the CA Foundation’s Common Proficiency Test (CPT) while pursuing his commerce degree.

Overcoming challenges at every stage, Prathamesh cleared all levels of the CA examination with diligence and determination. Speaking about his success, his father, Mahendra Bendre, expressed immense pride and said, "Prathamesh’s achievement is a symbol of relentless effort, perseverance, and strong willpower. His dedication has elevated our family’s pride."

This story stands as an inspiring example of how determination, hard work, and family support can overcome even the most challenging circumstances. Prathamesh, now a qualified Chartered Accountant, credited his family for his success.

"My family’s support has been crucial. My father shielded me from distractions and worked tirelessly, driving a rickshaw and delivering newspapers to support my education. I’m grateful I could repay his hard work through my achievement," he said.
