Pune: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has commenced the online application process for private candidates in the 10th and 12th grades to fill out "Form 17" for the upcoming board exams.

This form allows students who are not regular attendees of a school to register for board exams scheduled for 2025.

Interested candidates can complete the application process online with a late fee until December 31, 2024.

Form 17 is specifically available for private candidates, including those who may have had breaks in their education due to various circumstances, as well as those who have already passed the 10th grade and now wish to pursue further studies or reappear.

The board has requested that all secondary schools and institution heads make this information accessible, ensuring students have the opportunity to register.

The board has outlined that all private candidates should adhere to its terms and conditions while applying.

This initiative aims to support students seeking to complete their education after a break or change in their study paths.
