Pune: The bail applications of two men arrested for allegedly stopping their luxury car in the middle of the road and engaging in public urination and obscene behavior at Shastrinagar Chowk, Yerawada, will be heard in court on March 17.

The accused, Gaurav Ahuja (25) and Bhagyesh Oswal (22), had reportedly attended a party at a pub in a five-star hotel on Koregaon Park-Mundhwa Road on Friday (March 7) night.

After leaving the venue in their luxury vehicle, they stopped at Shastrinagar Chowk, where they allegedly urinated on the road and engaged in indecent acts. Following this, the Yerawada police arrested both individuals and registered a case against them.

On Monday (March 10), the court had ordered Bhagyesh Oswal into judicial custody, while Gaurav Ahuja’s police custody was extended for one more day for further investigation. As Ahuja’s police custody period ended, he was presented before the court again on Tuesday (March 11).

After the hearing, the court ordered that Ahuja also be placed in judicial custody. The bail applications for both accused have been scheduled for a hearing on March 17. Senior Police Inspector Ravindra Shelke confirmed that the court has not granted bail to either of the accused as of now.
