Pune: The 71st Co-operative Week will be celebrated across the country from November 14.

On this occasion, various programs have been organized by the Pune District Urban Cooperative Banks Association, said Subhash Mohite.

Co-operative Week is being celebrated across the country from November 14 to 20. On November 14, all urban co-operative banks will unveil the co-operative flag at their head office at 11 am.

The event will be broadcast live on social media. To create awareness about co-operation, every urban co-operative bank will send a message of association to their customers.

Five million customers will receive this message at the same time every day. Signboards will be put up in front of cooperative banks showing the strengths of co-operatives.

The co-op lecture series will be held online. There will be lectures on various topics including cooperative banking law, cyber security and human resources from 4 pm to 5 pm every day, said Association President A.K. Sharma.
