One of the trapped workers was quickly pulled out and given medical assistance. Efforts continued to rescue the other two workers, and all three were eventually brought out. However, one of them was declared dead on the spot. Officials are in the process of identifying the deceased worker.

The incident has sparked concern among local residents, many of whom gathered at the site, questioning the lack of adequate safety arrangements at such construction locations. As a precaution, the work has been temporarily halted.
