Pune: Heatwave Eases, Maximum Temperature Set to Drop to 36°C

According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature is expected to decline further in the next two to three days.

Pune: After experiencing a rise in temperature over the past few days, Pune and its surrounding areas are now seeing a gradual drop in temperature, offering relief to residents suffering from the intense heat.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature is expected to decline further in the next two to three days. Recently, Pune recorded a high of 40°C, but as of Saturday (March 10), the temperature dropped to 38°C.

The IMD forecasts that by midweek, the temperature will reduce further to around 36°C. Additionally, weather conditions will remain clear over the next five days. On Sunday (March 16), the maximum temperature is expected to be 37°C, while the minimum will be around 17°C.

By Wednesday (March 19), the maximum temperature is expected to decline to 36°C, with the minimum temperature slightly increasing to 18°C. With this anticipated cooling trend, Pune residents can expect some relief from the sweltering heat that had gripped the city in recent days.
