Pune: Leafy Greens Get Cheaper, Other Vegetables Hold Their Prices

Leafy vegetables like coriander and fenugreek saw a 5-10% price drop, while papaya prices declined in the fruit market.

Pune: Gultekdi market saw lower vegetable arrivals due to Gudi Padwa, yet prices remained unchanged as demand was moderate. 90 trucks of vegetables arrived from various states, including Karnataka, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.

Leafy Vegetables Prices Stable

At Gultekdi market yard, coriander and fenugreek prices dropped by 5 to 10%. However, prices of all other leafy vegetables remained stable. Around 90,000 bunches of coriander and 40,000 bunches of fenugreek were brought to the market.

Coriander: ₹500-1200 per 100 bunches

Fenugreek: ₹800-1200 per 100 bunches

Dill Leaves: ₹500-800 per 100 bunches

Spring Onion: ₹800-1200 per 100 bunches

Chakvat (Green Amaranth): ₹500-600 per 100 bunches

Safflower Leaves: ₹300-600 per 100 bunches

Mint: ₹300-500 per 100 bunches

Ambadi (Roselle Leaves): ₹400-600 per 100 bunches

Radish Leaves: ₹800-1200 per 100 bunches

Red Amaranth: ₹400-600 per 100 bunches

Chuka (Sorrel): ₹500-800 per 100 bunches

Chaulai (Pigweed): ₹300-600 per 100 bunches

Spinach: ₹800-1200 per 100 bunches
