Pune: Dr. Rajendra Bhosale, Commissioner of Pune Municipal Corporation, has issued transfer orders for engineering officers in the Construction and other departments.

The transfers involve two executive engineers, three deputy engineers, and ten junior engineers, aligning with the rule that mandates a transfer after three years of service in one department.

Some officers had been in their positions for five to six years without being transferred, prompting this administrative move.

Executive Engineer Bipin Shinde has been assigned to the Sewerage Maintenance and Repair Department and will oversee the preparation of a sewage management project plan for 23 villages. Executive Engineer Rohidas Gavhane has been moved to the Building Design Department.

Deputy Engineers Purushottam Bhutada and Ashalata Salvi, who had managed the TDR Cell for several years, have been transferred to the Property Management and Road Departments, respectively. Virendra Tilekar, a Deputy Engineer in the Building Design Department, has been reassigned to the Construction Department.

Transferred Junior Engineers (New Department):

  • Rupesh Wagh (Roads)

  • Swati Galpalli (Roads)

  • Swati Jadhav (Office of the Additional Commissioner)

  • Hemant Kolekar (Roads)

  • Anup Ghazalwar (Water Supply)

  • Praveen Jagtap (Development Plan)

  • Vijay Patil (Development Plan)

  • Mahesh Chavan (Development Plan)

  • Mahesh Shinde (Town Planning)

According to the rules, officers are required to be transferred after working in a department for three years. However, some officers had not been transferred even after five to six years, prompting the Commissioner to issue these transfer orders.

This reshuffle aims to adhere to the guidelines for timely transfers within the corporation's departments and streamline the administrative process.
