The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has withheld two salary increments of Deputy Commissioner Madhav Jagtap. The action follows allegations that Jagtap engaged in unauthorised activities beyond his jurisdiction, violating established protocols.

PMC Commissioner Dr. Rajendra Bhosale approved the disciplinary measure, emphasizing that misuse of authority will not be tolerated within the corporation. The decision sends a clear message to all officials about maintaining integrity and adhering strictly to their designated powers.
