According to the police, the city’s revered Manache Ganpatis, along with other major mandals, will begin their processions from the traditional routes passing through Tilak Statue Chowk, Belbagh Chowk, and Tilak Chowk. Each mandal has been allotted a strict time slot to reach the next point and complete immersion.

Ganesh Visarjan Timetable

The first mandal, Kasba Ganpati, will start its procession at 9:30 a.m. from Mandai and is expected to reach Tilak Chowk by 2:45 p.m., completing the journey in about five hours. Tambdi Jogeshwari, Guruji Talim, Tulshibaug, and Kesariwada Ganpatis will follow in sequence, each with a similar five-to-six-hour schedule.

Later in the day, major mandals including Dagdusheth Halwai, Mahatma Phule Mandal, and Akhil Mandai will begin their processions in the afternoon and evening, continuing until late night.

Parking Arrangements During the Ganesh visarjan Rally

To reduce congestion, the police have also arranged designated parking spaces for devotees across the city. Two-wheeler parking has been made available at Ramanbaug School, Garware School, Apte School, Peshwe Park, and several key stretches including Parvati to Ganeshmala.

Four-wheeler parking has been organized at Nilayam Talkies, Abasaheb Garware College, Fergusson College, SSPMS Ground, SP College, and other large grounds including the riverbed between Bhide Bridge and Gadital Bridge.

The police said this planning is aimed at completing Pune’s Ganesh Visarjan procession with discipline and order, while ensuring that citizens and mandals can celebrate the festival with devotion and safety.
