Pune Police is set to launch Operation Muskan - 13, a special initiative to trace missing children and women from the city. The month-long campaign will be conducted between December 1 and December 30.

As part of this operation, dedicated task forces will be established in the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, Crime Branch, and all police stations across the city. The campaign is part of a statewide effort to locate missing minors and women over the age of 18.

Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar stated that locating missing individuals is a continuous priority, with efforts made round-the-clock throughout the year.

However, this operation will involve intensified and coordinated efforts during the designated period.

Each task force will include senior officers and staff members from respective police stations.

The teams will be led by a Senior Police Inspector, supported by an Assistant Inspector, and three additional police personnel. The task forces will work collaboratively with all police stations to ensure the operation’s success.

Orders for the implementation of Operation Muskan - 13 have already been issued to all officers in the city.
