The buses heading towards Konkan are packed to capacity, with passengers carrying festive excitement as they return home to welcome Lord Ganesha. However, the limited number of buses has created difficulties. Several travellers said they had been waiting since last night for their turn to board.

Ganeshotsav holds a special bond with Konkan, where families traditionally gather for the celebrations. Pune, being a major departure hub, is experiencing one of its busiest days at Swargate, with long queues and anxious passengers hoping to reach their villages in time.
