Pune to Showcase India's EV Advancements with 6th India International EV Show

IIEV will also host 10 expert-led seminars and conferences that will delve into pivotal topics, including battery technology, energy storage, and charging infrastructure.

Pune: The 6th edition of the India International EV Show (IIEV), India’s platform for electric vehicle technology and innovation, will be hosted at Pune's Auto Cluster Exhibition Centre from December 6 to 8, 2024.

This event will feature over 200 exhibitors and brands from five countries, showcasing more than 5,000 innovations in electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, and advanced mobility solutions, while anticipating over 20,000 visitors from industry, government, and the public.

Organized by Futurex Group, IIEV 2024 has garnered support from leading industry bodies, including the Society of Manufacturers of Electric Vehicles (SMEV), Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA), and International Federation of Electric Vehicle Associations (Ifeva).

This collaboration reaffirms the event’s status as a leading destination for EV industry advancements and thought leadership.

"We are thrilled to bring the India International EV Expo to Pune, especially after the success of our past events in Delhi and Chennai," said Namit Gupta, Director of Futurex Group.

He added, "This platform not only showcases groundbreaking technology but also fosters essential partnerships to drive India’s electric vehicle industry forward, contributing to national goals for sustainability and climate resilience."

Beyond the exhibition, IIEV will host over 10 expert-led seminars and conferences that will delve into pivotal topics, including battery technology, energy storage, and expanding charging infrastructure.

The event is expected to see the launch of more than 25 new products, further cementing its reputation as a vital platform for EV innovation.

As the EV industry grows, supported by favorable policies and advancements in technology, India has seen sales of EVs surpass 1.7 million units in fiscal year 2024, with projections indicating a 66% increase in 2025. The Indian EV market is rapidly expanding, with a significant rise in consumer demand and government initiatives.
