Pune Shock: Wife Abducts Husband’s Lover in Hinjewadi IT Park

Woman, with her mother and brother, assaults and threatens victim before police rescue

Pune, 22 August 2025: Pune witnessed a disturbing incident in its bustling Hinjewadi IT Park, where a woman, enraged over her husband’s extramarital affair, kidnapped and assaulted his alleged lover.

According to police, the incident took place on August 20 around 4:30 p.m. near Wipro Circle. The victim was lured outside her office by a phone call claiming that a parcel was to be delivered. As soon as she stepped out, the accused woman, accompanied by her mother and brother, forced her into a car.

The victim was driven around areas like Tathawade and Wakad for nearly two hours, during which she was beaten and threatened with death. Alarmed colleagues and relatives alerted the police when she went missing.

Investigators quickly scanned CCTV footage from the area and traced the car used in the abduction. Acting swiftly, police located the vehicle and rescued the woman unharmed.

The Hinjewadi Police have registered a case against the wife, her mother, and her brother. The shocking incident has sparked widespread discussion in the IT hub, with further investigation underway.
