Pune: Women Harassed on Dance Floor, Female Bouncer Abused in Yerawada Pub

The two accused, residents of Shirur Taluka, were on the pub’s dance floor when they pushed the women while dancing.

Pune: The Yerawada Police have registered a case against two men for allegedly harassing women dancing in a pub and verbally abusing a female bouncer who intervened. The incident occurred on Saturday (March 22) night in a pub located inside a mall in the Yerawada area.

Accused Push Women on Dance Floor, Abuse Female Bouncer

According to police reports, the two accused, residents of Shirur Taluka, were on the pub’s dance floor when they pushed the women while dancing.

Upon noticing the incident, a female bouncer stepped in and instructed them to move aside and maintain discipline. However, the accused verbally abused her and misbehaved.

Following the complaint by the female bouncer, the Yerawada Police issued a preventive action notice against both individuals.

Investigation Underway, CCTV Footage Examined

Assistant Police Inspector Vishal Takle is handling the case, and a detailed investigation is underway. Senior Police Inspector Ravindrakumar Shelke and Police Inspector (Crime) Pallavi Meher visited the location. The police have reviewed CCTV footage of the incident and are examining further evidence.
