The Hadapsar, Loni Kalbhor belt witnessed a cloudburst-like shower that left many homes and vehicles submerged. Pune–Solapur Road, especially near Loni and Kadam Wak Vasti, remained waterlogged, severely affecting traffic movement. Similar flooding was reported from Indapur and Baramati talukas, where rainwater entered several houses.

In Theur, nearly 50 homes were inundated, prompting the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) to carry out rescue operations. Police teams assisted in shifting residents to safer locations, while relief efforts continued through the morning. The western suburb of Dhayari also reported water entering multiple houses.

The heavy rain brought down trees in different parts of the city, worsening traffic snarls and disrupting public transport. Several key roads remained under water, making travel difficult during the early hours.

With water levels rising in surrounding catchments, Khadakwasla dam authorities announced an increase in water discharge from 2,968 cusecs to 10,611 cusecs on Monday morning. The district administration has appealed to citizens living along riverbanks to stay vigilant and follow safety advisories.
