SaiSTA Skill Development Academy Launched in Pune with Automotive Industry Focus

The programs will provide cutting-edge training, advanced facilities, and a comprehensive approach to student development.

Pune: The Skill Tech Sai Service Foundation and Akhil Bharatiya Maratha Shikshan Parishad have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance infrastructure and training standards at Shri Namdevrao Suryavanshi ITI.

This partnership has led to the establishment of SaiSTA, a first-of-its-kind Skill Development Academy dedicated to revolutionizing vocational training in the automotive industry.

Speaking on the occasion, Malati Kalmadi, Director of Skill Tech Sai Service Foundation, described the agreement as a significant step towards elevating skill education.

“This partnership reflects our commitment to fostering world-class training facilities and developing industry-ready talent,” she said.

SaiSTA will offer five specialized short-term courses:

  • Automotive Telecaller

  • Sales Executive

  • Four-Wheeler Technician

  • Service Advisor

  • Light Motor Driver

These programs will provide cutting-edge training, advanced facilities, and a comprehensive approach to student development.

To prepare for this initiative, a seminar titled "Employment and Training in the Automobile Industry" was recently organized by SaiSTA and Shri Namdevrao Suryavanshi ITI.

The event attracted over 60 participants, including principals, lecturers, and management professionals from private ITIs, MCVCs, and junior colleges.

Distinguished speakers at the seminar included: Uday Suryawanshi, District Vocational Education and Training Officer; Malati Kalmadi, Founder Director, SaiSTA; Rajendra Ghume, Former Joint Director, Pune Division; Sanddhya Sadhale, Senior HR Executive, Sai Service; Rajendra Koli, Principal, Anantrao Pawar College of Architecture; Lakshmi Gandhi, Project Director, SaiSTA; and Vishwas Sawant, Principal, Shri Namdevrao Suryavanshi ITI.

The initiative is expected to set new benchmarks in vocational training and create a skilled workforce to meet the evolving demands of the automotive sector.
