Savitribai Phule Pune University Organizes Global Education Fair for Students and Parents

Representatives from private universities in Pune will also participate in the event. Event will also cover eligibility exams required for IELTS, TOEFL, and GRE.

Pune, 4th December 2024: Savitribai Phule Pune University will host a Global Education Fair on Saturday, December 7, providing free guidance to students about international education and the admission process.

The event will feature representatives from 40 renowned foreign universities, who will offer advice to students and parents.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Suresh Gosavi shared this information and stated that the fair aims to help students and parents understand the admission process for over 13 foreign universities from countries like the USA, Australia, Europe, and Canada.

The event will also cover eligibility exams required for admission, such as IELTS, TOEFL, and GRE.

The fair is designed to simplify the admission process for students while ensuring they receive the necessary guidance on exams and eligibility requirements. In addition to foreign universities, representatives from private universities in Pune will also participate in the event.

Dr. Gosavi also mentioned that the university would provide scholarships to assist students in preparing for exams like IELTS, TOEFL, and GRE, which often require significant financial investment.

Students will receive additional guidance to help them prepare for these exams, making the process more accessible.

Notable attendees at the event will include Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Parag Kalekar, former Vice Chancellor Dr. Nitin Karmalkar, Dr. Vijay Khare (Head of the International Centre), Dr. Mahesh Kakade (Director of the Examination and Evaluation Board), and Acting Registrar Dr. Jyoti Bhakre.
