Pune: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has announced the summer semester examination schedule, confirming that diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate exams will begin on March 25, 2025. The detailed schedule is being released in phases, and affiliated colleges have been directed to make the necessary preparations.
Exam Centers and Responsibilities
Diploma programs, first-year undergraduate courses (Arts, Commerce, and Science), and first-year law programs will be conducted at the respective colleges.
The responsibility for scheduling, setting question papers, conducting exams, evaluating answer sheets, and entering internal assessment marks will be managed by affiliated institutions.
All other exams will be conducted directly by the university.
Important Guidelines for Students
Arrive Early: Students must reach the exam center at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
Centralized Assessment Begins on Day 3: The evaluation of answer sheets will start three days after the exams commence.
Flying Squad Deployed: A special monitoring team has been appointed to ensure the smooth conduct of exams.
Emergency Barcode Rule: If an answer sheet with a barcode is not received at the center, an emergency barcode will be issued.
Exam Registration Mandatory: Unregistered students will not be allowed to appear for the exams using an emergency barcode, as it is considered a legal offense under university regulations.

Diploma & UG (BA, B.Com, B.Sc.) exams begin on March 25
Law & BBA exams start on April 9
