SSPU School of Sustainable Studies signs MoU with MASMA

The scope includes inputs in curriculum design by the industry body, industrial training and visits, internship and placement opportunities, etc.

Pune: School of Sustainable Studies at Symbiosis Skills and Professional University has signed an MoU with Maharashtra Solar Manufacturers Association (MASMA), Pune.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Swati Mujumdar, Pro-Chancellor, Symbiosis Skills and Professional University ( SSPU) and Rohan Upasani, in presence of Shashikant Wakade, Pradeep Kulkarni, and Aksshay Panchal from MASMA, Pune and, Dr. Sudhakar Shinde, Dr. Mahesh Wagh from SSPU.

The MoU includes comprehensive cooperation beneficial to both students and the industry. The scope includes inputs in curriculum design by the industry body, industrial training and visits to industries for students, internship and placement opportunities, joint research activities in the fields of Renewable Energy, Green Buildings, Energy Storage, Energy Efficiency, Energy Conservation, etc. guest lectures and faculty development programs.

Dr. Swati Mujumdar said, "The MoU with MASMA is a win-win initiative for both industry as well as the students. Close co-operation between the two would be of major benefit to the student community to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Students undergoing training with state-of-the-art facilities and world class teaching standards at SSPU along with industry exposure through internships would in turn be a valuable resource for the industry.

It would also help students participate in research and innovation activities which would contribute to the betterment of the industry with innovative and fresh ideas."
