Team Power Rangers 3.0 from GHRCEM Wins ₹50,000 at Innovation Oasis 2024

Pune: The Power Rangers 3.0 team from the Department of CSE-Cyber Security and Data Science at G H Raisoni College of Engineering and Management (GHRCEM), Pune, secured second place at Innovation Oasis 2024, a national-level competition organized by IIIT Nagpur.

Competing against over 500 teams from across India, the team’s remarkable performance earned them a cash prize of ₹50,000, certificates, and extended mentorship support from IIIT Nagpur.

The team, led by Prasad Dhend, included members Anuj Shukla, Sejal Vavhal, and Parth Parsewar, who showcased exceptional innovation and problem-solving skills throughout the competition.

Guided by faculty mentors Dr. Deepika Ajalkar, Dr. Arti Patle, and Dr. Swapnil Mahajan, the students received commendation from industry stalwarts like Deepak Menaria (Founder, Lemon Ideas), Vishnu Tambi (CEO, Excellon Software), and Tanveer Mirza (President, Nagpur First and Yashodhara NGO).

These leaders praised the team for their ingenuity and practical approach to addressing real-world challenges.

Dr. R.D. Kharadkar, Campus Director, GHRCEM, lauded the team, saying, “We are immensely proud of Team Power Rangers 3.0. Their success at Innovation Oasis 2024 reflects their hard work and the dedicated mentorship provided by our faculty. We look forward to their continued contributions in cybersecurity and data science.”

Sunil Raisoni, Chairman of Raisoni Education, and Shreysh Raisoni, Executive Director, extended heartfelt congratulations to the students and their mentors, celebrating this achievement as a testament to the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and innovation.
