Pune: The traffic police in the city are violating the rules by using their personal mobile phones instead of taking action through the e-challan machines provided by the state government to take punitive action against the drivers who violate the traffic rules.

E-challan machines should be made available to the city traffic police, traffic police and traffic wardens should be stopped at the main intersections and the malpractices at other intersections should be stopped immediately, every traffic cop should not perform duty without wearing a name plate on his uniform.
