Trapped Baby Rescued Safely by Pune Fire Brigade Personnel

The incident took place on second floor of Anant Apartments in Warje.

Pune: A two-and-a-half-year-old boy, who was trapped playing on the second floor of Anant Apartments in Warje, was rescued by fire brigade personnel around 4 pm on Wednesday.

The door suddenly closed. His parents were scared as the baby was trapped.

As soon as neighbours contacted the fire control room, the personnel rushed to the spot.

They consoled the baby's parents. Climbing the ladder, they broke the net with a machine and handed the baby over to his parents.

The parents and residents thanked the soldiers. Sagar Sonawane, Tandel Shivdas Khutwad and jawans Sanjay Chaure, Manoj Gaikwad and Vikas Ovhal of Warje fire station performed the task.
