VAMNICOM Conducts Leadership Workshop for PDCC Bank Female Branch Managers

This training initiative is part of an ongoing partnership between VAMNICOM and PDCC Bank, which has already seen six training programs successfully conducted.

Pune: The Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management (VAMNICOM) in Pune recently organized a comprehensive training program aimed at empowering women branch managers and assistant branch managers of the Pune District Central Cooperative Bank Ltd. (PDCC Bank).

Held on August 24 and 25, 2024, the two-day workshop attracted 30 participants and was designed to enhance their leadership abilities, boost personal effectiveness, and improve team management skills.

The program began with an opening ceremony that was attended by PDCC Bank's female directors, Nirmala Jagade and Puja Butte Patil, as well as Mohini Jagdale, Manager-Admin.

Also in attendance were R. K. Menon, a professor at VAMNICOM, Vijayashri Bhagawati, the Programme Director at VAMNICOM, and Sonal Kadam, Joint Programme Director at VAMNICOM.

R. K. Menon delivered the opening remarks, highlighting the significance of the training and its potential impact on the participants.

At the closing ceremony, Dr. Hema Yadav, Director of VAMNICOM, delivered an inspiring address, urging the attendees to apply the knowledge and skills they had acquired during the program to lead with confidence and drive meaningful change within the cooperative sector.

This training initiative is part of an ongoing partnership between VAMNICOM and PDCC Bank, which has already seen six training programs successfully conducted.

Two of these programs have been specifically dedicated to women's empowerment, reflecting the strong commitment of both institutions to nurturing leadership and advancing the cooperative community.
