Vienna: Dr. Satish Pawar Presents Knee Pain Research at European Congress of Radiology

Research paper of Pawar duo examined how sonography can be effectively used to assess the muscles that may be responsible for persistent pain in patients with knee replacements.

Pune: At the prestigious European Congress of Radiology held in Vienna, Austria, Baramati’s renowned sonography expert, Dr. Satish Pawar, along with pain management specialist Dr. Kirti Pawar, presented a research paper addressing knee pain. The paper focused on using sonography to explore the underlying causes of knee pain, particularly in patients who continue to experience discomfort even after knee replacement surgery.

The congress, which is internationally recognized as one of the leading events in the field of radiology, saw the participation of over twenty thousand doctors from around the globe. This significant gathering provided a formidable platform for experts to share advancements and research findings in radiology.

During the session, the Pawar duo detailed their study on knee pain. Their research paper examined how sonography can be effectively used to assess the muscles that may be responsible for persistent pain in patients with knee replacements. The study included a detailed classification of the various methods for performing muscle sonography, aimed at improving the diagnosis and management of knee pain.

Dr. Satish Pawar, a noted expert in sonography from Baramati, led the presentation with insights into post-operative knee pain management, while his colleague, Dr. Kirti Pawar, contributed expertise from the field of pain management. They were supported in their presentation by Dr. Samrajni Pawar, Dr. Satish Pawar’s daughter, who assisted in showcasing the research findings.
