Pune: A domestic dispute turned into a violent attack in Warje Malwadi when a woman and her relatives forcefully entered her husband’s house, brutally assaulted his mother, and attempted to kill her to take custody of their 5-year-old daughter. The incident took place on July 7, 2024, at the complainant Pramod Dadasaheb Bomble’s residence in Warje Malwadi.

According to reports, Pramod Bomble and his wife, Priyanka Bomble, had been living separately due to family issues. Priyanka had moved to her maternal home in Sangamner with their daughter.

Recently, when Pramod learned that his 5-year-old daughter was sick, he brought her to Pune for treatment. This infuriated Priyanka, who, along with her relatives, stormed into Pramod’s house with iron weapons.

Inside the house, the group created chaos. Aniket Laxman Thorat, Priyanka’s relative, allegedly grabbed Pramod’s mother’s head and slammed it against the wall twice. He then tried to strangle her in an attempt to kill her.

Meanwhile, Priyanka and her relatives forcefully took custody of the child, while the entire group attacked Pramod and his mother, leaving them injured. Aniket threatened Pramod at knifepoint, saying, "I will chop you into pieces!"

Following Pramod Bomble’s complaint, the Warje Police have registered a case of attempted murder and assault against: Aniket Laxman Thorat, Priyanka Pramod Bomble, Sunil Gunjal, and ten other unidentified individuals.

The injured Vijaya Dadasaheb Bomble is currently receiving treatment for her injuries. Assistant Police Inspector Lad is leading the investigation, and police are working to identify and arrest all individuals involved in the attack.
