Pune: A video has surfaced showing vehicles navigating through knee-deep water on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.
The waterlogging occurred near Borghat in the Amrutanjan Bridge area close to Khopoli, affecting the lane towards Mumbai.
The low-lying area has accumulated water, making it challenging for vehicles to pass. Traffic police have been deployed to guide drivers through the submerged section.
In addition, the Chinchvali-Borghar route adjacent to the Mumbai-Goa Highway has been submerged due to continuous rainfall, leading to river flooding.
This has completely cut off Chinchvali village from other villages in Khed Taluka. The Khed Taluka administration is monitoring the situation closely.
