Pakistan Stock Exchange building in Karachi attacked by terrorists, two killed

At least two people were killed after terrorists attacked Stock Exchange of Pakistan in Karachi on Monday. According to reports, at least four gunmen attacked the Pakistan Stock Exchange building in Karachi.

According to the Geo News, the terrorists hurled a grenade attack at the main gate and entered the building premises after opening undifferentiating firing. Three of the four terrorists have been killed while one is still inside the building, according to the police in Pakistan. The police have sealed the neighbouring areas.

The Geo News quoted Abid Ali Habib, Director Pakistan Stock Exchange, "An unfortunate incident took place at the Pakistan Stock Exchange.”

He added, "They made their way from our parking area and opened fire on everyone." He said that the militants had stormed the Railway Ground parking area and fired outside the ground of the PSX. Habib said that the firing by militants caused panic among the people in the building.
