The incident took place on Monday night at around 10 PM in the girl's house near the Vegetable Market in Yerawada.

According to the complaint filed by the girl's father at Yerawada police station, the victim had been in a relationship with 18-year-old Kevin Chandewal, who initially lured her with false promises of love.

However, once the relationship was established, Kevin allegedly started subjecting the girl to mental abuse, which led to a severe deterioration in her mental health.
