4 colleges under MMES get ‘A’ grade NAAC accreditation

PUNE: Four colleges under the Marathwada Mitramandal Education Society (MMES) have been accredited with ‘A’ grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

While the Marathwada Mitramandal College of Commerce (MMCC) has been awarded with ‘A’ grade in round 3, the rest of the three colleges got ‘A’ grade in the first round.

Shankarrao Chavan Law College (SCLC), Deccan Gymkhana, Marathwada Mitramandal Institute of Technology (MMIT), Lohegaon and Marathwada Mitramandal College of Engineering (MMCE), Karve Nagar are the other colleges.

“The four colleges have never made any compromises with the educational merit, which is why we have been rewarded with ‘A’ grade. The colleges have achieved this success under the leadership of their principals, Sr MD Lawrence (MMCC), Dr Kranti Deshmukh (SCLC), Dr Rupesh Bhortakke (MMIT) and Dr Sunil Deshpande (MMCE),” BG Jadhav, Officiating Principal of the Society said.
