AVM Rajhans takes over as MILIT chief

Pune: Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Vivek Rajhans took over as Commandant, Military Institute of Technology (MILIT), Girinagar, near Khadakwasla, from Maj Gen AK Sapra, on Sunday. Air Vice Marshal Rajhans was commissioned in Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical) branch of the Indian Air Force on August 20, 1984 and is an MTech in Systems and Control from IIT Powai, Mumbai. The officer has trained on MIG 27, MIG 23, Jaguar and SU 30MKI and has held key staff at headquarters, Maintenance Command and Air headquarters in addition to field assignments with fighter squadrons and repair depots.
