CBSE releases NET key

PUNE: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released verification of scanned images of OMR answer sheets, recorded responses and answer keys of candidates, who appeared in the University Grant Commission’s National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) held on November 5. 

The documents will be available on the website cbsenet.nic.in from December 12 to 18. In a circular, the CBSE said that there is a provision for candidates to challenge the recorded responses if these differ from the ones they had marked on the OMR sheet. The challenge of scanned images of OMR answer sheets and answer key will be accepted online only thorough the link available on the website during the given period of time.

The candidates will be charged Rs 1,000 per recorded response challenged and are required to do payments online. It also said that if the challenge is accepted, correction will be made and the fee will be refunded. Similarly, if any mistake is noticed by subject experts in the answer key, the policy decision will be notified on the website and the fee would be refunded.
