CSIR-NCL wins research award

Pune: CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory (CSIR-NCL), Pune, received the Clarivate Analytics India Research Excellence Citation Award 2017 in the area of Natural Sciences, at a function held in New Delhi, by Dr Rajagopala Chidambaram, Principal Scientific Advisor, Government of India, and Dr Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi.

Clarivate Analytics announced the 6th edition of the Research Excellence Awards to recognise and honour research excellence in the country. These awards were instituted to identify the most influential researchers and institutions for their pioneering research contribution.

The selection criterion included highly cited research publications that imply high impact research and analysis by others. Data was derived from the Web of Science and InCites scholarly research analytical solutions.

In addition to, some more awards were also given to institutions and researchers from across the country, in other research areas.
