Dealers fail to upload E-704 audit forms on MahaGST portal

PUNE: More than 150 dealers/shop owners have failed to upload E-704 audit report (VAT) for the period of April to June 2017 between October 2018 to January 2019 on portal due to a technical error. The Maharashtra government appealed to these dealers to upload the form on or before February 28, 2019.

As per the information provided by an official of MahaGST, "VAT audit report in form E-704 filled by some traders and dealers who have uploaded for the period April to June 2017 between October 2018 to January 2019 on the portal, are not processed due to technical errors of the computer system. Hence, such dealers have been requested to again re-upload E-704 in new template completely on or before February 28, 2019."

The department has requested to download the form E-704 latest template which is available on MahaGST portal. In case of any difficulty arising to re-upload the form #704 for the period, one can contact and write their concerns on e704help@gmail.com email id.
