Fire Breaks Out Near Petrol Pump on Jangli Maharaj Road, Pune

Fire erupts at a garage opposite Jangli Maharaj Temple; firefighters rush to control the blaze, residents moved to safety.

Pune, 26 December 2025: A fire broke out on Jangli Maharaj Road in Pune, triggering panic in the busy area. The incident occurred at a garage located opposite the Jangli Maharaj Temple, behind a petrol pump.

Given the close proximity of the fire to the petrol pump, authorities acted swiftly and moved nearby residents and shopkeepers to a safer distance as a precautionary measure. The aim was to prevent any risk of the fire spreading or causing further damage.

The Pune Fire Brigade immediately rushed to the spot with five fire engines. Firefighters are currently working to bring the blaze under control. No injuries have been reported so far, and efforts to completely extinguish the fire are ongoing.
