Free plastic and cosmetic surgery camp at Shirur

PUNE: A free cosmetics and plastic surgery camp will be held at Shirur (dist Pune) during December 22-23.

The camp has been organised by the Agarwal Club Pune Charitable Trust in association with the RM Dhariwal Foundation and the Gayatri Pariwar, Pune.

Addressing a press meet, orthopaedic surgeon Dr Pankaj Jindal said, “Surgeries will be done for hand and leg repairs, born/genetic defects and reconstructive surgeries for accident and burn patients completely free of cost at this camp. We perform 50-100 such surgeries and also follow them up for up to three months after the surgery.”

Umesh Jalan, project director, said, “This cosmetics and plastic surgery camp will be held on December 22 and 23 at the Matoshree Madanbai Dhariwal Hospital, Shirur.”

“The patients can register themselves till December 19 by calling up Vandana Pathak (7588148805), Ravi Chaudhari (7066028113) or the Matoshree Madanbai Dhariwal Hospital, Shirur. The registered patients will have to pay Rs 50 as registration fees at the venue,” added Jalan.
