PUNE: Indian Bank’s zonal office held a branch level multi-level consultation and ideation meeting on Sunday in Pune.
The meeting was chaired by FGM Sandeep Kumar Gupta, ZM, Manish Kumar and DZM Prakash Nimje. A fruitful discussion ranging from the area specific issues affecting the growth of business of the branches, opportunities and growth potential available, requirements of the customers, improving digitalisation etc and aligning with the local priorities/needs.
Detailed discussion were held on bank lending to MSME sector including lending under Stand-up India, Mudra Loans, PSB loans @59 mins etc. Similarly, bank finance to agricultural sector and Self-help group (SHG) lending were also focused upon.
Other areas like retail lending, digital transaction for both convenience and outreach were touched upon. The consultation process saw several new ideas emerging from interactions with the branch managers, who are the first point of contact with the public.
