IndiGo Cancels Select Flights From Pune Airport Till December 31; Operational Reasons Cited

Flights on Varanasi, Bengaluru, Guwahati and Chennai routes affected; passengers advised to check status before travel

Pune, 16 December 2025: IndiGo Airlines has temporarily cancelled select arrival and departure flights at Pune Airport until December 31, 2025, citing operational reasons, airport authorities said on Monday.

According to Pune Airport Director Santosh Dhoke, the affected services include flights on the Pune–Varanasi, Pune–Bengaluru, Guwahati–Pune and Pune–Chennai sectors.

The cancelled flights include 6E 6884 and 6E 497 on the Varanasi–Pune route, 6E 6876 and 6E 6877 between Bengaluru and Pune, 6E 746 from Guwahati to Pune, and 6E 918 from Pune to Chennai.

Passengers holding tickets on these flights have been advised to contact IndiGo Airlines directly or check the airline’s official website or mobile application for updated information on rebooking, alternate travel arrangements or refunds, as applicable.

Pune Airport authorities said they are coordinating closely with IndiGo to minimise inconvenience to passengers. Travellers have also been requested to verify their flight status with the airline before reaching the airport to avoid last-minute disruption.
