Pune: Jet Airways will again start the flight from Pune to Chandigarh after three months of suspension service between these two cities from July 8. According to the official, Jet Airways will operate its flight 9W 440/439 Pune-Chandigarh-Pune on July 8.

“The flight will depart an hour before the Air India flight. The flight will depart from Pune at 11.40 am and reach at 2.10 pm. the flight from Chandigarh will depart at 2.40 pm and reach Pune at 5.10 pm,” said the source.

Sunday operations were closed around three months ago owing to repair work of the runway. The airport was also closed for 15 to 20 days twice in past few months.

Jet Airways has started bookings for a Pune-Chandigarh direct flight.

Air India already has a direct flight between Pune and Chandigarh (AI 813/4), which is quiet popular among passengers, especially those working with automobile companies located in these two cities.
