Learn From Delhi And AAP Govt, says Raghav Chadha

Pune: “Dynasty politics is rampant in the State. Now, there is a new trend that the same faces are contesting elections from different parties every time. But AAP has genuine candidates who have worked in different fields and are fighting for the people in Pune,” said Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Spokesperson Raghav Chadha on Sunday.

He was in the city to extend support for AAP candidates for the State Assembly elections.

“I feel proud that AAP took up the challenge in the last election. We made the change. And today because of AAP government in Delhi, we are saying, learn from Delhi and AAP government. Delhi has the cheapest rate of electricity because of AAP government. Only Delhi has free health and education because of the AAP government. As Maharashtra is an agricultural state, we have a duty towards farmers. I challenge other political parties to implement free healthcare and education for the people of Maharashtra,” said Chadha.

He said there are challenges of expensive electricity, water, tanker mafia and others.

“I urge voters to elect an honest party like AAP which is fighting against political parties like Shiv Sena, NCP and the BJP,” said Chadha.

Sandeep Sonawane, the AAP candidate from Parvati Assembly constituency said, “We want to bring the Delhi model in the city.”

Speaking at the meet, Dr Abhijeet More, who is contesting as AAP candidate from Kothrud constituency said they will give a tough fight to Chandrakant Patil.

“Because of good work done in Delhi, our work has become simple. In Delhi, AAP has worked in education, health and other important aspects giving us the right way forward. Whereas BJP candidate Chandrakant Patil is bringing up the issue of Kashmir, which is not important for the people of Kothrud. This is a state election and so issues that affect the residents of Kothrud should be brought forth,” said

Dr More. Claiming that all parties including the BJP have failed the people of Maharashtra,  AAP Pune City Unit President Mukund Kirdat, who is the AAP candidate from Shivajinagar said there is the grave issue of farmers committing suicide across Maharashtra.

“This number is not going down and no party is taking it up. There is the question of drinking water which is again brought to the forefront. Even when Delhi has received less rains there is no problem of water scarcity,” said Kirdat.
