List of vacant seats to be declared on September 22

ST CORRESPONDENT

Pune: The third round of First Come First Served (FCFS) of Centralised Admission Process (CAP) has started now, said Deputy Director of Education (DyDE) Minakshi Raut on Thursday. The list of vacant seats will be declared on September 22.

This will be the last round for those who have not been allotted any colleges so far. The State government has directed to undertake a last round of FCFS, as results of the Std X re-examination and students who had failed in one or two subjects are allowed to keep term (ATKT), as well as those who have not got any colleges so far can get the last opportunity to take admissions.

After four rounds of a general admission process, a special round of admission process and two rounds of FCFS, around 95 per cent admissions have been done, stated the DyDE.

Students who want to cancel their current admission in any college can seek admission only through the vacant seats available in FCFS third round. However, it will be at the student’s risk to opt out of the current admission as seats which will be available under FCFS-3 can be opted online by another student, said Raut. Details about the admission process are available on http://pune.11thadmission.net
