Massive Fire Guts Furniture Godown in Dhayari; No Casualties Reported

Firefighters battle intense blaze at N.A.C. Enterprises on DSK Vishwa Road; cause under investigation

Pune 13 June 2025: A major fire broke out in the early hours of Friday at a furniture manufacturing godown located on DSK Vishwa Road in Dhayari. The incident occurred around 2:50 AM at the premises of N.A.C. Enterprises, prompting an immediate response from multiple fire stations across Pune.

Upon receiving the distress call, fire tenders from Navle Fire Station, Sinhagad Fire Station, and PMRDA, along with a water tanker from the Central Fire Station, were rushed to the scene.

According to fire officials, firefighters arrived to find a large quantity of furniture engulfed in flames. They had to forcibly break open the shutters of the godown to access the blaze and launched an intense operation using continuous water sprays to bring it under control.

The fire caused extensive damage to the premises, destroying furniture, machinery, two motorcycles, and a tin shed. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported.

The firefighting team was led by Fire Officer Umratkar and Nilesh Pokle, with firemen and jawans Bharat Gogavale, Vishal Dhaygude, Harshad Kamble, Rishikesh Humbe, Ishwar Narwade, Prateek Edke, and Kishore Kalbhor actively involved in the operation.

The exact cause of the fire remains unknown, and an investigation is underway. Authorities are currently assessing the total loss incurred in the incident.
