PUNE: Now, the past students of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), who have passed out after 1989, can get their marksheet, SSC or HSC, or verify it online. The board has uploaded all its data from the year 1989 to DigiLocker with help from National Informatics Centre (NIC). Thus, the students will be able to upload as well as verify their marksheets on DigiLocker.
“With help from the NIC, we have managed to upload all the data of the Board from the year 1989 onwards. All the marksheets from that year onward will be available to students who passed from the board,” MSBSHSE Chairperson Shakuntala Kale said.
She said the students who are abroad will also be able to access their old marksheets online, without any fees.
“Those who have passed from the Maharashtra State Board and are now abroad will have to register on e-Sanad, an initiative for digitisation of the certificates started by Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and through this, they will be able to access their marksheets on DigiLocker, and even e-verify them,” Kale added.
“Those who have passed from the Maharashtra State Board and are now abroad will also be able to access their marksheets through DigiLocker. Presently, the foreign universities can access documents of Indian students on e-Sanad, and through this, they will be able to access the marksheets as well on DigiLocker, and even e-verify them,” Kale added.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) have already begun using DigiLocker for uploading marksheets for the past couple of years.
